Understanding yourself differently starts here.
Life doesn’t come with a manual, but it does leave clues.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, rebuilding after trauma or simply curious about why you think, feel and respond the way you do, these programs help you make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Each one combines evidence-based psychology, trauma-informed practice and practical tools in a way that is engaging, accessible and immediately relevant to everyday life.
Because when we understand ourselves differently, we begin to live differently.
Find the program that’s right for you

Why Am I Like This?
Available as a group program or 1:1 coaching, this is the flagship Empowerment House program—and the best place to begin.
If you’ve ever wondered why certain situations trigger strong reactions, why familiar patterns keep showing up, or how pressure affects the way you communicate, make decisions and relate to others, this program will help you connect the dots.
You’ll explore how your nervous system, life experiences, relationships and beliefs shape the way you think, feel, lead and respond. With practical tools to manage pressure, recognise unhelpful patterns and make more intentional choices, you can create meaningful change—at work, at home and in the relationships that matter most.

Under The Pump
Understanding What’s Driving You and What to Do About It
Most men don’t wake up wanting to lose their temper, shut down, avoid difficult conversations or carry the weight of the world on their shoulders.
These responses often make sense when we understand where they come from.
Under The Pump is an opportunity for men to step back from the demands of everyday life and become curious about the patterns that shape the way you think, feel and respond. Through practical psychology, neuroscience and guided reflection, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your nervous system, your stress responses and the habits that may have once protected you but no longer serve you.
You’ll leave with practical tools to pause, notice what’s happening beneath the surface and make more intentional choices—at work, at home and in the relationships that matter most.

Not Quite Myself
Many women reach midlife wondering what has happened to the person they used to be.
Changes in mood, energy, confidence, memory and emotional regulation can feel confusing and isolating.
This program combines psychology with education around perimenopause to help women understand what they’re experiencing and develop practical strategies for navigating this stage with confidence and self-compassion.

The Rebuild
Leaving an abusive relationship is only the beginning of recovery.
This program supports women after the crisis has passed, helping them understand the impact trauma has had on their nervous system, identity, relationships and sense of safety.
Participants learn practical tools for rebuilding confidence, recognising healthy relationships and creating a life that feels safe, meaningful and hopeful. Delivered in partnership with community organisations and support services.

I Just Wish You Understood Me
Relationships between parents and children can become frustrating when everyone is reacting but nobody understands why.
This program explores child development, nervous system responses and communication patterns to help families move beyond conflict and reconnect with greater understanding.
The goal isn’t perfect parenting. It’s creating stronger connection through greater insight.

It’s Not About the Dishwasher, Honey
Most relationship arguments aren’t really about the dishwasher.
They’re about unmet needs, emotional triggers, nervous system responses and long-standing patterns that neither partner fully understands.
This program helps couples recognise what’s happening beneath recurring conflict and provides practical tools for communicating differently, strengthening connection and responding more intentionally.
